Automatic shut off valve

Was looking for some advice, I have a house with multiple zone but they are not automatic. I have two zones, heating and water, which are on thermostats at the moment so turn on/off automatically. But the heating itself if 3 zones across the house but it only have one thermostat to turn on/off. You can't shut off a specific zone and heat the rest of the house.

Now I was wondering what would be the cheapest way to resolve this? I guess the ideal would be 3 automatic valves, each having a thermostat which can turn on/off heating for that zone?

Could a cheap alternative be keeping the system as is, but putting in a wifi valve that I can manually open/close to heat the zones myself?

What do people think? am I crazy?
