Yeah same today. Do you use any IPTV services as a matter of interest?

Yea, that's how I noticed. I know of a couple of other people on VM who've been affected as well.
I used a VPN to get around it on my phone.

I wonder if it’s a permanent change. Hopefully not....

Presume that's intentional? See it's working perfectly now.

Would this effect DNS, as I use alternate DNS for certain things?
Have noticed some issues in the evenings - started on night of USA election last week, but dismissed it at the time. Problems with buffering or no access at all, made no changes to setup, and all seems to be working next morning!

Yeah seems to be working fine now *touch wood*

This is due to the premier leage blocking order which means IPTV gets blocked by certain ISP's, the only around it is using a VPN.

Strange one, there wasn't any football on for a few nights that the peering issue was in play.

yeah, probably need vpn in the short term or a new provider

in their (uefa) request for the block they were supported by and used evidence from an ISP(sky) :D

Yeah it’s too do with the premier league and Uefa actions against pirating.

Sky were quick on the pickup (for obvious reasons) and a lot of iptv getting blocked. Virgin I hadn’t noticed personally and know I’ve been fine. But thankfully my supplier on the ball.

What do people recommended, go down the Firestick route?

I'm not sure that that would help if Virgin either experience this issue again or deliberately target streaming/IPTV. The old fashioned answer would be to take a legitimate subscription out (sorry!).
