    Hi all,
Just back from a trip to Athy and what do I see coming towards me, on the 10 km stretch between Athy and Crookstown, but a Traveller funeral cortege. This immediately requires me to pull over and get out of the way, as there are at least half a dozen cars jostling to overtake each other and get as close to the hearse as possible, which is moving along at a modest enough pace. Each car has a picture of the deceased taped to the bonnet and no sooner has one car changed place than another attempts to do the same. This is a bit difficult when another car is occopying that space already so it leads to several near misses. The hearse is the only car behaving with any cop-on.
