eCars using charing spaces when not charging

Is this poor form?

My local supermarket has two charging points. FOC for customers. Half the time when I go there, there is eCars parked in them when they're not actually using the cable.

Some people seem to think it's a designated space regardless of whether they are using the cable or not.
You might as well have a diesel car plonked there.

I drive a petrol btw :pac:

Oooh, you've angered them now.

If this really happens it must annoy all other drivers, particularly other EV drivers who was hoping for a top-up.

Road tax. Price of diesel. Cyclists. Speed cameras. Pedestrians. Traffic jams.

As an EV owner this doesn’t bother me, it’s rare that I’d rely on a charger, particularly now that there’s nowhere to go.

Even people that should know better like Kerry and Limerick councils and SIMI.
