    Hi

I see Penny's are looking for seasonal staff. I had applied about 2 months ago, but I didnt make "stage 2" of the interview process. I suspect the online test I had to do, I must have failed!

Would they see I applied before and failed?

Has anyone any experience with the online test? It was difficult enough, for example the answer is either a, b, c or d. A and C could be almost exact! Its seems as if u either use common sense or check with the manager to resolve the situation in question. It was fairly difficult

Well you can't be sure, but according to the Data Protection law, they should not. That recruiting process has finished and there is no legal reason for them to continue to hold your details.

Generally speaking if you find yourself in that situation it means:
    - You don't know the subject area well enough
    - You misread the question or answers
    - Your English comprehension let down
    - The test was drafted by a none native speaker

You can improve your chances in the first three by putting in some study time - read articles about the company and it's competitors, retailing, training etc... That way you will become familiar with the business situations and the language terms used in the business.
