Im recently diagnosed during pregnancy and have been told its type one due to an antibody test. My doctor thinks I can come off insulin after pregnancy though I guess Im honeymooning. We currently live in Canada and intend to return home in a few years, Im just wondering how difficult it is to get life insurance, a mortgage and mortgage protection with Type 1. I definitely did not have it in January this year and my worse HBAC1 has been 7.7 which was my first one I intend to keep as tight a control on it as I can its currently 6. Has anyone any insight?
