Replacing old charger

If you value that scale then get the original charger.

Nominal means that it's the expected current draw during normal operation.

The charger off Amazon allows for 1.3 Amperes so it should do the job. The device will draw only as much current as it needs so if it's not less than what's on the label it should be OK.

Just make sure the polarity matches of the barrel connector. Normally inside is minus, outside is plus. If you connect the reverse polarity and the device doesn't have reverse polarity protection (it's really old) then you might fry it.

Thank you for the advice sheepsh4gger, couldn't remember what the story was with the current. And the tip about polarity, I've got a multi meter so should find a youtube vid on how to check.

Cheers bro. I'll order the amazon one.
