Hi, I'm getting 150m hydrodare laid in advance of a fibre line install and looking for input on what I need to buy. There will be three junction boxes.
I've someone to come lay it for me but he's asked me to buy the materials.

Anything else that I am overlooking?
Also, any tips on running a drawstring through about 50m length of hydrodare? Saw this video online

Would that work for 50m run, do you think? Or would I have to segment the hydrodare and run it in shorter batches?

I used fishing line and sponge on a 50m run, with a battery vacuum. Worked perfectly.

Hire a cobra reel and buy a coil of rope. Duct tape them together

Those junction boxes and connections look like they won't work for the 50MM hydro.

I did a 150M run for fiber in my house last year. I used the red ESB 50MM pipe, 3 50 meter lengths. The hardest part of the job was uncoiling the pipe, it has a memory and is a pain to get straight!

I used a henry hoover, builders line string, and a small plastic bag to draw the line through the 50 meter lengths. Ball the bag up and tie the twine around it, then suck it through the pipe. Did that three times until I had the builders line going all the way through, then pulled through two blue ropes.

I didn't bother with the junction boxes. I got 2 couplers made for joining the ESB pipe and glued them in place with PVC glue.

The digger man came and buried the pipe 1 meter deep, put in a few inches of sand, then backfilled. Be careful with the bend radius if you don't have junction boxes. If the blue rope can move easily enough you will be fine.

If you MUST use a junction box then go for something better than the ones you linked. Ones meant for sewers would be better.

Bring the 50mm duct into the access box, then seal it with foam.

Brilliant, thanks lads. The junction boxes are a friendly addition for my neighbours, should they want to run fibre, they could use the same hydrodare. Maybe this is a mistake... Eir does say you should have a junction every 100m with 50mm ducting.

I'm running the ducting to my gate in the hopes that eir will use / complete the install with existing ducting from there (though I know it's collapsed in places and above ground in other).

Does anyone know if Eir/KN are still looking after that final run if you pay the €250 installation fee? It's about 20 metres from there to the house. I'm hoping they'd have the tools to finish it without having to dig lumps out of the garden.

As far as I know, they'll want the duct right up to the wall of your house from the pole or exchange box

Crap, ok. I might have to rethink my plan a little bit...
