Winter dosing

Just wondering any advice about best product for winter dosing?

I have 10 suckler cows and 3 weanlings going into the shed this weekend.

I was planning on doing 2 doses for the fluke/worm now and in Jan. A drench or pour on would be preferable.

A separate lice treatment needed now or later?

If I had more time I would send away some samples but didn't get a chance.

If they don't appear to need dosing now I would leave them until January and then a cheap white dose like albex would clear everything.

Clipping their backs and necks would cut down on the lice and keep them cooler.

So I could dose any now are scuttery and wait until the 10 weeks after housing for dosing with a mature fluke dose.

I have never tried cutting hair but will give it a go.

Is it worth treating for lice now or just wait until I see how they are in Jan.
