Surely a new cat is less rubbish than an old batthered original one. It's for a 2004 fiesta.

Aftermarket cats don't have the same amount of metals in them as original ones. a second hand cat is worth more in scrap than that brand new one. There are quality aftermarket ones but much more expensive. A good oem cat will serve you for years assuming the problem that caused it to fail is fixed (If there is a problem, they can wear out with use).
