Never thought id see the day when id consider IOS but when it comes to the camera the Iphone 12 Pro looks streets ahead of anything else out there, better than the P40 Pro from what I can see, don't think I can stomach the thought of sorting out Google Play issues with Huawei being locked out, camera on the Pixel 5 isnt up to it especially in low light, OnePlus 8T not much better, had an S9+ previously and dont want to go down the Samsung road again, opinions would be appreciated...Camera performance is my primary concern, I also own a Canon 5DMK4

If the pixel or Samsung dont appeal, your options are limited. What about the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro ? Reviews come in good for the camera. Decent low light performance.

Agree with you regarding Samsung, they are awful devices but marketing really does work for them, I'm in the same boat but still using a P20 pro, had purchased the pixel 5 but cancelled it as wasn't overwhelmed with the reviews, such a pity about the P40 pro

Thanks for both of your comments, early days here but was considering upgrading to the OnePlus 8T especially but the camera seemed to be a let down especially in low light, ill have a look at the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro but whatever I get it will have to be at least as good as the P30 Pro, had the Nexus 6P in the past, great in its day, failed and was replaced under warranty, still have it as a backup, the S0+ was MEH...

Shame about the P40 Pro, I would have bought it for the camera as I do alot of Photography in my work. I couldn't deal with this new Harmony OS thing and the uncertainty it brings with it to. Nice looking device though, I hope Google give Huawei a break and bring them back on board.
