I brought in an M3 a couple of months ago which wasnt on the VRT system. Best way to gauge what to expect is find out what an Irish equivalent year/spec/mileage is going for at the moment on carzone/donedeal/adverts as they will use these as a source of information for their OMSP value.

There was only one Irish M3 for sale at the time of my VRT and it appeared that my OMSP was based completely on it. Also, be ready to appeal the VRT so save any ads for RS4s for sale at the moment and you can try appeal your VRT if the OMSP is higher than what is for sale here

I'm not saying that the op would ever consider such a thing, but what if some unscrupulous would be importer of a rare car puts up a couple of ads on done deal for roughly the same year and spec car,but with a very reasonable price?
Such an unscrupulous person could even have a burner phone should anyone in authority ring up about the (fictitious) vehicle.

Probably going to be 7/8k really, they were on the system until last year and the VRT was like 3k for an 07, but once they're gone off it it's a nightmare.

Ya they were down to 3.5k at one stage before they were taken down...... There is only one on done deal at the moment at 25k so I'm guessing they would base it off that

Currently the only real B7 RS4 on Donedeal with a price is this one at 27k - https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/audi-rs4-4-2-fsi-quattro-500bhp/26051665?campaign=3
