    How many names has this department had?
    In my head it is the department of social welfare.
    Are we on the fourth or fifth name change now?
    Since 21 October it's now the department of social protection.

    Wikipedia lists the various names that the Dept that pays out benefits has had!

    From the list, it's now on its fifth name!

    Its not uncommon for Government Depts to change names after a change in government. It may be silly but it their way of saying "We are doing things differently".
