Regulations around entrance road to new development? [DCC]

A planning permission application has gone in for a development near me which I'm considering objecting to. It's a reasonably small development of 4 houses but it would bring a lot of construction traffic through a small cul de sac.

We've left it a bit late to find a planning consultant [PMs from available consultants are welcome], so may have to DIY the initial observation.

The short 'entrance road' looks like it would be quite narrow, only 5.3m. Maybe there is a regulation around the minimum width of an entrance road, to allow pedestrian and vehicle space? Could anyone point me towards where to search?

Why get hot and bothered over construction traffic when that’s not permanent?
It will last a few months and then done.

They will also have a construction management plan as part of the planning.

Is it really construction traffic you are bothered with or the development in general?

Yup. Lots of small children play on the road, there's no green space. If the houses were just magically put in by teleport I wouldn't care that much. The developer has an alternative access option which would be more costly to them.
