New Phone on Black Friday

I am due a new phone and have been waiting for the lead up to Black Friday to see if I can get the best deal.

Main features I would be looking for would be quick performance, good battery life and ideally wireless charging. I tend to gravitate towards flagship models but would be interested in good deals on mid range offerings as well. Today i Seen a

One Plus 8 Pro on Amazon for around €715

Samsung s20 on Komplett.ie for around €759

Xiaomi Mi 10 for €655 on Xiaomi Ireland Website

Interested on peoples thoughts on if they think these are good deals, other options and tips for getting the best deal coming up to Black Friday.

Following thread with interest, I'm in the same boat, currently using back up phone until I see all the Black Friday deals.

Current interests are the new Xperia 5ii (free Sony €200+ head phones and Sony prices usually drop quick) and OP8T (may come discount or with some accessories bundle) but will certainly be open to other offers.

You can get the 256GB version for <€40 more from places like here. I'd go for that instead so you don't have to worry about customs or long delivery times.

In terms of the phone itself, is the Mi 10 any use? I see some people giving out about clunky software and pre installed apps

Aliexpress is good, bought 2 phones there (check where is it shipped from, some use DHL to germany for example to stop first so you dont pay customs)
you have also giztop, wondamobile, all good

i am using xiaomi phones for 5 years, never had issues (4 phones still working even today)
also check mi 10 pro or ultra (but they are made for chinese market so no B20 band for 4G)
my advice is always get global versions of any phones, just because of bands

Have a look on Donedeal or Adverts for Samsung S20. You can get them new sim free from several phone shops for around 600 euros. S20 plus is less than the phone you linked. Samsung s20 ultra is 770 euros on eglobal.

Son has the current one plus nice bit of kit, year old solid, presumably the new one will be as good probably better

Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G 6 GB/128 GB (UK Version + Official 2 Year Warranty), Cosmic Grey on Amazon for £259 is perfect for most people and it's future proofed with 5g. Oled screen, good fast processor and long battery life. No wireless charging but it's overrated anyway.

Worth keeping an eye on the google store. The normally do a deal on their mobiles.

3a, 4a are already great prices and a discount on them could be tempting.

As well as the new pixel 5

Broke my phone last night on contract with eir . Due an upgrade new galaxy s20 is 299 on my plan shluld i hold fire till black friday or pull the trigger now. Also if one was to recommend a phone in eir which would it be 🀔ðŸ¸
