My daughters wedding is on 21st November in the UK.
Can we travel from county mayo or is it deemed non-essential?
I can’t find any definitive black and white rules in this. Can anyone advise.

You don't need to quarantine in the UK before the wedding but you will need to quarantine for 14 days once you return to Ireland.

I would say it's essential travel but I'm not sure what a Gaurd would say when you meet them.

There’s no problem traveling over at the moment. Just remember to fill in the online Passenger Locator form before your return. And that you’ll have to quarantine for 14 days on your return. Take all sensible precautions and enjoy the wedding.

Not a chance in hell I’d be missing that - regardless of what is allowed / recommended.

You could drive if you were nervous about flights but I’d be there.

You don't have to quarantine for 14 days when you return. You have to "restrict your movements".

Not as restrictive as quarantine. That's my understanding, anyway.

The wedding was 2.5 weeks ago!
