Silage for FR stores

Hi, Im new here and was just looking to know how many silage bales would 25x480 kg (average) Friesian bullocks need in a month. I always thought .8 of a bale was the guide for a store bullock but everywhere i look now it says 1.3 bales each a month? I think i will be short of bales. I always kept weanlings and got away with about .5 bales each a month.

There is or at least was a spreadsheet feed budget calculator you can download from Teagasc website.
It’s half decent as it will show you the affect of feeding meal on the silage requirements.
