I am looking to make an appointment with a dentist for what I assume may be quite a few jobs. I am a very nervous patient after some pretty terrible experiences in the past (I'm literally shaking even typing this) and would appreciate reccomendations for dentists who either specialise in treating nervous patients or offer sedation. I have seen quite a few offer sedation services but personal experience from anyone would be great.

Thread from few years back https://www.boards.ie/mobile/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=101367377
Right now you may find it difficult to find many open (covid), ring around and ask.

Ah very handy, thanks very much. Thankfully most seem to be operating as normal at Level 5, hopefully won't be too hard to get an app

I'll recommend Liam McGee, Lawrence house, merchants road, such a soft and gentle manner, and a magician at work, painless and informative, over the years I went from your state to now booking him ahead of issues as you should do.

    A gent.

    +1

I think most dentists are open now, even at level 5.

    Another one for Liam McGee.
I had a complete blacksmith of a dentist years ago that put me off ever going again.
I had to get a tooth pulled and Liam was the best I could have asked for.

I went to quay dental and found the hygienest great. I'm a terribly nervous patient and will be in tears throughout the procedure.. they are remarkably patient and offer sedation.

Reading this thread tho seems Lee McG is popular!

    Another for Liam McGee.
Wont come across a nicer man and he explains in detail about everything.
I used to dread going to the dentist but now it doesnt bother me in the slightest
