Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
I know current situations prevent any meaningful collaboration, but I am looking to meet other musicians. Maybe after this nonsense some more constructive jamming may commence?

I’m a PG student, in my early 30s and bring mostly lead guitar skills to the table, but also comfortable playing rhythm. Based in Galway city.

I have gigging experience in metal/hard rock bands, but my current influences include rock/country/blues and some hints of swing/jazz.

    Some artists I’m digging recently:
Tony Rice, Jerry Reed, Greg Koch, John Scofield, The Aristocrats, The Hellecasters, Danny Gatton, Merle Haggard etc etc.

Not looking for anything specific, just want to see if anyone out there has similar influences and wants to chat.

    Keep yourself alive.

We are nearly at the end of all of this, wondering if your still looking to chat music with another musician in Galway.

I’m a rhythm guitarist/bassist by trade, trying to upskill myself on keyboards during the last lockdown. The main thing I do with music now is record little songs.

Love me some country and blues, and was blown away by Orville Peck’s new stuff, and I have been tentatively trying to get into Mac DeMarco, who does his best to channel John Lennon for modern times.

Hope your PG is going well.
