Virgin Hub 3.0 / Linksys Velop

    Hi all.

    I've recently switched from VF fibre (not gigabit) to a VM 250 package. I have been running a Linksys mesh wifi around the house.

    The switch over has been pretty seamless and I have been getting great speed all over the house, consistently hitting 245/250 down on 5ghz. However, I am coming against an issue with some of my phone apps loading really slowly...I've an Android phone and my wife has similar complaints with her Android. I have an iPhone for work and it seems fine - not encountering any slowness

    I haven't been on to VM yet to switch to bridge mode, but this would this have an impact on apps?

    Also, when I connect straight to VM hub the apps rún perfectly.

    Have tried the usual reset/factory reset ón both the VM route and Linksys. But to no avail...

    Any ideas?

    Update

    I spoke to Virgin this morning and put the Hub in to bridge mode. The app slowness has disappeared. Everything running well now.
