Hi guys, new to this forum. Just picked up my 2017 Tucson se nav 1.7crdi. Quick question I always put a litre of oil & coolant in the boot for emergencies. Silly question but what type of coolant is needed? The colour in it is now is blue/green.. Anyone know what type or spec to look out for? Thanks

Check the owners manual. Probably Inorganic Acid Technology coolant.

I have a Hyundai i40 but I believe the coolant is the same as the Tucson, my owners manual just specifys that it must be an ethylene glycol based coolant. I use an OAT and haven't had any issues. It's a red colour, although looks more pink in the reservoir.
