Selling a few shares. What’s the best way to transfer it back to my bank account?

    Hi all,

I’m looking to sell some shares I’ve acquired through work. Ideally I’d like to try and cut down on bank fees and currency conversion fees as I’m selling the shares for USD and then transferring back to euro.

Does any one have any experience or recommendations on the best way to do this? My initial thoughts was to maybe send it to my Revolut account and then to my current account?

I did it to revolut very recently, just have to add the revolut as a new payee. Depending on the amount there will be fees from revolut too (for the conversion). The total for me of both the sell fees and transfer/conversion was about 85e before vs 45e with revolut (rough guesses!) as I received the transfer to an irish bank in USD
