Eir sports on sky

Apologies if this is not the correct forum. I’ve cancelled my Sky TV after 9 years of paying for it. I’m an eir broadband customer and about the only thing I am watching on sky now is eir sports for the pro 14 rugby. I get eir on the sky box as I’ve given Eir my sky viewing card number. Does anyone know of this will still work after the Sky subscription ends?

If not is there any way of getting eir sport on the tv in a freesat/saorview setup, my Irish wouldn’t be up to TG4

    Thanks

Your eir Sport sub is completely separate to your Sky subscription and should continue to work fine as long as you keep your Sky box and dish.

A caveat though - if you have Sky Q, you only rent the box and Sky will look for it back.

I’m an old Sky+ user, will be interesting to see what channels I have when the subscription ends. I believe in the U.K. you can keep the Sky+ recording/playback feature for about £10 a month, but not available here
