Consequences of visiting an escort?

    I was wondering what are the consequences of visiting an escort? Have a few friends that have done it and it does look appealing, but I know that in 2017, a law was passed that criminalized the purchase but not sale of sex.

    I've heard though that those who get brought to court are usually ones who visit brothels and so far, none have been prosecuted.

    Are the women who operate on escort-ireland legal?

    Only issue i would be worried now is covid related as you might end up as another figure on the bedpost now.Social distance .
