Jury Service Question

Hi, got a letter today (to my folks house where I no longer live) to attend for jury duty December 2nd. I'm one of those weird people who'd actually enjoy doing something like that but am currently self-employed so can not afford to just not work (especially now).

I can get a letter from my accountant but she's a pain in the arse and will charge me so question is - can I just ignore it as it didn't come to my actual address? I haven't lived at parents house for years and they're getting on. Would they question why my parents didn't pass it on or would it just be a non-issue as they have the wrong address?
    Thanks!

You address is taken from the electoral register, so you must still be registered to vote at your parents. So, they don't really have the wrong address.
    Just as an aside

Nope, I'm not. Registered here, at my house, where I've lived for a while.
    Thanks though.

Just email to state self employed, they won't look further.

Are you supposed to get a reply back after you email them. I haven't got a response after several weeks.
