That really is a misery spec 5-series that has been well polished. If its a 518d then stay away, that's the lower power version from 3 series.
You can do so much better for similar money.
Ad says huge spec, its definitely not!!

Look for M-Sport Plus which has bigger media screen, upgraded radio/speakers, 19" alloys and rear spoiler.

    Hi Guys
Thinking of changing to the below 5 Series, due to high milage has anyone feedback on what to look for...?

    Thanks in advance

Price reduction for a start....I bought a 4.5 year old 141 A6 in 2018 late in the year with just under 60,000 kms on it for €1,000 more than they are asking for this one, comparable prices when new so just using that as an example. From a dealer too, with a warranty. An extra 165,000 kms must devalue it quite a lot.

Also, it says 518d in some places and tax is €190 so I think that car is a 518d if that matters to you, but open to correction I don't know all the tax bands.

The gap between the drivers door and front wing looks wrong?

    OPs example.

Not a good time to buy in my opinion. What year is your car? Do not buy a car, wothiut having it checked, would recommend bloomfield motors close enough to sarsfield, bmw specialist.. spending a hundred euro on a proper check, is a drop in ocean when speing 17k and will save you from a lemon or give you major peace of mind!

That mileage? Suspension, control arms, anything. There is the tyoicsl stuff , much of it could have been replaced at this stage. Bring it to bloomfield etc if you dego want it...
