Transferring paypal account from one country to another

Has anyone ever transferred their paypal account from one country to another - if moving abroad etc? Any trauma in getting that done with them?

You actually can't.

I had to do this a few years back, I contacted PayPal and was told to close the account and open a new one, and that this was the proper way to do it.
