Extractor Fan Regulations 2005

    Hi,

    I’m looking at a second hand property built c. 2005. There isn’t an extractor fan in the en suite or the main bathroom. Does anyone know if this was required in 2005? The property is being sold by the original developer and a fan seems like a very basic thing to have missed.

    yes there should have been (unless in the unlikely instance it has PSV)

    section 1.8

    and im not in one bit surprised that it wasnt included at the height of the celtic tiger "throw em up" period.
