Hello. Looking for a small/medium road frameset (old bike was 535mm top tube, I'm 173cm). Preferably carbon and rim brake compatible. Budget is about 1000e but there's wiggle room there.

Any interest in a full bike? I have medium carbon bike with a 105 Groupset.

Not really. I have a campag groupset I like and saddle/stem/bars that suit me. I do also need a new rear wheel but would have no use for a 105 groupset.

all the cool kids are riding steel frames these days, carbon is yesterday's tech. i'm thinking of selling a bike which i could split up, which has a rim brake genesis equilibrium frame, 52cm, should that be of interest.
ETT is 539mm, stack 558mm, reach is 380.

I have nothing whatsoever to do with the bike/sale/ad but if it was my size I'd have bought it many moons ago even before the recent spate of price drops. A clean R3 for buttons. Sell the bits you don't need, or just ride the damn thing.

gave me a chuckle that they specify a specific seatpost with it, which is not included.

It's probably a bit below your budget but I have the frameset from this bike -

I could do frameset with forks, carbon seatpost, headset and bottom bracket for €200. I also have a brand new Planet X Model B rear wheel (10s but takes 11-34 11s cassette!) for €60.

I've the frameset from this bike as well but I think it's probably too big -

They're a lovely frame. They were used by Sean Kelly An Post team for a few seasons as their main Pro bike (probably cos they got them for nothing!).

This one has 3 holes drilled in it to facilitate DI2.

What size is it? and how much would you want for it?

I already have a nice steel frame bike, need a bit of variety though.

It's a Large (so 565 eff. top tube). The next size down, Medium, would be perfect at 535!

It's got an integrated seatpost so needs to be cut to size (still some adjustment with spacers) so I'm not sure how low it can be cut. I can check tomorrow?

I think you'd have to stick with DI2 otherwise the holes would look a bit silly.

Re price I'm not sure, probably around €400 but I'd need to see what high end frames of that vintage (2012 or so) are going for.

Thanks but 565 is definitely too big. No point getting something that doesn't fit perfect. I also really don't want to have to use electronic gearing.
