    HI all,
My wifes mum passed away a few months back and we are unsure of how to proceed with selling her car. My wifes name is on the cars log. Its an old car (2003 Skodia Fabia) but has only approx 25k miles on it as it was only used for a run around to the center and the shops etc. Its off the road since last feb and has no nct or tax.
Can anyone advise on selling it as cant be driven without an nct/tax/insurance.
    Any advice would be welcome.
    Tnx

If your wife's name is on the log book then it's not inheritance as it's already her car. I think the value of the car would be added to the overall estate/inheritance value and tax would be applied to it. Probably better asking in the Taxation forum.

Stick it on donedeal for a few hundred and see what you get for it

If you can put a bit with it I would look into using it as part of a scrap page deal for her to get a new car in 2021
