Uplighters or suitable lighting for around a stove

    Hi,

Fitting a freestanding stove in a newly made recess in the fireplace in the living room.
We would like to add lighting in the recess, as a feature and ambient lighting.

We're thinking 2 uplighter spots placed into the hearth either side of the stove or maybe some other type.

Anyone experience this type of lighting?
I'm guessing the cabling and lights need to be high temp resistant etc ?

I plan on getting an electrician but just wondering if it's feasible or indeed sensible.
