Uplighters or suitable lighting for around a stove

Hi, Fitting a freestanding stove in a newly made recess in the fireplace in the living room. We would like to add lighting in the recess, as a feature and ambient lighting. Hi,

Fitting a freestanding stove in a newly made recess in the fireplace in the living room.
We would like to add lighting in the recess, as a feature and ambient lighting.

Anyone experience this type of lighting?
I'm guessing the cabling and lights need to be high temp resistant etc ?

I plan on getting an electrician but just wondering if it's feasible or indeed sensible.
