    Hello,
I am looking to update my sonos soundbar (going to mount the tv and will want to mount the soundbar too) so looking at upgrade options before I mount it.

I am unsure what kind of benefit I am going to get from the Sonos Arc if my tv (TX-55GZ950B) does not have eARC.

Have 2 play 1's as surrounds, child sleeps in room above so dont have a sub, and wont be adding one.

Is it worth the upgrade withiout eARC.

    Regards,
    Hearny.

    Hi Hearny,

Thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you!

I definitely think the Sonos Arc would be a better option than the Beam even if you don't have eARC yet. It means you can future proof your system for when you do add it but the additional drivers in the ARC give a fuller sound and will fill the room better! We have one on display and it sounds amazing in comparison with the Beam or even the Playbar!

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David

    Thanks for the response.

I have no plans to update the TV. Do you have mounts for the tv with a swivel arm that the sonos attaches to.

Still only considering it at the minute.

    Regards,
    Gary.

    Hi Gary,

Thanks for getting back to me!

We only have the dedicated Sonos ARC mount at the moment which can only be wall mounted and can't be attached to an existing wall bracket!
