    Hi i have a 100 year old pine tree that blew down the last storm on my land does anyone know what its worth before i start cutting it up for firewood.

    How many knot free 6x3 16 foot long planks are in it? They're worth about €20 each after sawing. That should give you a rough idea, can you deliver it to a sawmill?

    If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Thanks for the reply i dont know how many boards you would get out of it but it must be 30 feet or more high i unless i could sell it out of the yard it will be going for firewood will keep me going a few years.
