    Any thoughts on the 1:20 in Ascot tomorrow. Have free 5 euro bet. Stradavarious is evens and know he was beaten last time out has anyone any thoughts on how the race will be run. Would love to back Welds horse but still think Stradivarius is a supreme beast.

    Thoughts?

    Yous will have a right laugh at this bet:
    Ryan Moore has come under a lot of scrutiny around here lately, some of it justifiable. But I reckon the arrival of Colin Keane on the scene will light a fire under his ass and he'll have a great day at Ascot.
    Im backing him in all 6 races today and I've thrown in Pogba first scorer for United and Everton Liverpool draw :D

    50c Trebles from 8 selections:
    1320 - Sovereign 14/1
    1355 - Lope Y Fernandez - 14/1
    1430 - Passion 16/1
    1505 - Circus Maximus 10/1
    1540 - Magical SP
    1615 - Keats 14/1
    New v Man U, Paul Pogba 1st scorer- 11/1
    Eve v Liv, draw - 3/1

    Ascot 13:20, 2miles: Morando at 17s
    He is by Kendargent out of an Indian Rocket mare, the formula for many a good horse on soft ground.

    Hugh Taylor tipped up Morando e/w today, but his picks don't affect prices too much in bigger races as there is a lot more liquidity.

    Went for welds in the end- put it on late last night. Ah well. Never seem to do well on a free bet. Hope others had better luck.

    They do tho, Moore is pure poison whatever he rides nowadays

    There's some that ride the Robbo style, and bump at every stride;
    While others sit a long way back, to get a longer ride.
    There's some that ride as sailors do, with legs, and arms, and teeth;
    And some that ride the horse's neck, and some ride underneath.
    But all the finest horsemen out -- the men to Beat the Band --
    You'll find amongst the crowd that ride their races in the Stand.
    They'll say "He had the race in hand, and lost it in the straight."
    They'll know how Godby came too soon, and Barden came too late

    They'll say Chevalley lost his nerve, and Regan lost his head;
    They'll tell how one was "livened up" and something else was "dead" --
    In fact, the race was never run on sea, or sky, or land,
    But what you'd get it better done by riders in the Stand.

    The rule holds good in everything in life's uncertain fight;
    You'll find the winner can't go wrong, the loser can't go right.
    You ride a slashing race, and lose -- by one and all you're banned!
    Ride like a bag of flour, and win -- they'll cheer you in the Stand

    Magical wouldn't have won today under any jockey.
    She couldn't even get past the 2nd and had plenty of time.

    Magical wouldn't have won today under any jockey.
    She couldn't even get past the 2nd and had plenty of time.

    She was finishing well in the end, she would have beaten the 2nd if she'd up been on the pace and just might have slogged out a win if she had been up the front from the start. She was the only one to make progress against the 3 that had been at the front from the early stages.

    Moore didn't feck up. O'BRIEN sent out Serpentine and Muir to stretch the field ( which didn't work out too well ) with Magical and Japan being supposedly ready to pounce from behind off a strong pace.

    The advantage had been with the front runners and team O'Brien fecked up any chance Magical had. Well done to the winner, those Pivotals love that ground.
