Frasier on Channel 4

I often do not have to work early mornings, and on those days I enjoy watching 1 or 2 episodes of Frasier on Channel 4.

However, I have begun to notice that the majority of episodes are from the later seasons. There are definitely fewer early episodes.

Does anyone know if Channel 4 is only repeating selections of late episodes, or at any rate, a selection of some, but not all, episodes?

Can't say i've noticed whenever i do tune in. You would imagine that they would show it in order start to finish.

They show all the episodes - at one stage they were showing 3 episodes a day so they were showing all episodes on a circa 3 month cycle.

Cutting back to 2 episodes is just delaying before they show series 1 episode 1 again !

Channel 4 shows Frasier on a loop in what I understand is the correct order.

Back on the 13th of June at 7.15am the showed the very last episode of season 11.

That was followed at 7.40am by the very first episode of season 1.

They are currently up to season 11 with episodes 3 and 4 on tomorrow morning.

The last episode of season 11 will be at 9.35am on the 30th of this month.

Season one starts again immediately after at 10.05am.

They are shown in the correct order except at Christmas time when one or two Christmas episodes are shown out of sequence

It is a series that in my opinion stands up to repeated viewing.

Channel 4 are doing the same with Cheers, two episodes per day starting at 7.10am.

They have been doing it for years, I remember being unemployed back in 2013 and there were Frasier reruns between 9am and 10am every morning back then.

Channel 4 have been showing Fraiser on a continuous loop for about 4-5 years now... I have seen it start to finish about 4-5 times as a result... :|

Fantastic show alright. One of my all time favourites. Niles best character IMO but a host of great characters even the minor ones like Bebe, Bulldog etc.

    Even Maris:)

Think it did go downhill in later years though. Focused too much on Frasiers love life i thought. Also a lot of the humour surrounding Niles & Daphne disappeared
    when they got together

Frasier favourite show of all time along with the Simpsons.

The writing was so sharp and they managed to create real characters that you cared about and you were brought on a journey with the main characters through their lives.Ive seen every episode 5 or 6 times at least so I know the episodes almost by heart but I watch these days as much because I enjoy spending time with the characters as much as for the jokes. The performances by all the main cast are wonderful and some of the minor characters like Bebe,Gil and Bulldog were great fun aswell.

The first 7 seasons and the final Season (season 11) are all outstanding, seasons 8,9 and 10 are of a lower standard (with only a few top quality episodes per season that compare to the best seasons of the show) as a lot of the writers left after season 7 Christopher Lloyd and Joe Keenan in particular

It's longer than that, I can remember watching it and Everybody Loves Raymond / Friends everyday before school (2007 :D)

I can't stand Bebe and turn off any episode she is in, with the exception of the episode where Kirsten Chenowith playes the young upcoming Agent. I can tolerate Bebe for a glimpse of Kirsten then.

Bebe Delivered 2 my favourite lines in the entire history of the show

Frasier: What kind of a woman are you? You seduced me, you lied to me, you nearly got me killed! You've shamelessly manipulated not only me, but this station, the news media, and the entire city of Seattle! What do you have to say for yourself?!
Bebe: Aren't you glad I'm on your side?

Bebe: But, if it's a raucous political debate you want, meet newlyweds Hank and Hannah Finch. He's a right-wing Baptist preacher, she's a fun-loving bisexual! Conflicts? You bet!

About three weeks ago in Cheers (Before Frasier) Diane introduced her new boyfriend “Frasier” her psychiatrist 😎. What a good career move Kelsey Grammer made there.

The RTE Player has the whole series of Frasier on it - all 11 seasons.

And if you really appreciate the scripts and want to read them, they're available here.

The episode with Dr Phil (The Devil and Dr Phil) is one of the best.

Haha that'll be an unpopular stance i'd say! Brilliant character brilliantly played IMO.

I keep finding on my free mornings that I am only getting very late episodes, where Niles and Daphne are together. I would like to catch more of the early stuff.

If you bothered to read the thread you started you might have noticed several posters have gone out of their way to give you the schedule.

Ah Fraser is class. One of the best comedies of its time, and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise.

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

I have also watched everyone loves Raymond and king on queen's start to finish 4-5 times... In my 5 years of working from home :)

The episode with Dr Phil (The Devil and Dr Phil) is one of the best.

Wasn't it all a scam to keep Frasier as her client... Dr Phil owed her from a gambling debt or something?

Yep, to get him back as a client (and to get a higher percentage than she had been getting).

I’ve been watching the Frasier repeats for years on C4. It stands up to repeating viewing time and time again. It had so many great scenes over the years. It had a very strong cast also a really impressive supporting cast. Two of my favourites are Bebe and Dr Mary. I’d agree it went a little of the boil around season 7/8 but finished on a high with the final season.

    Two of my favourite scenes are;

    Hot & Foamy
    https://youtu.be/s0wDQju2FvI

    Niles Twin
    https://youtu.be/lV8ocbooymE

I’m not sure where the reboot stands with the virus, I’m not sure how well it will work but I’ll tune in regardless. It’ll be very different without Marty.

One of my absolute all time favourites too. Have ALOT of episodes on the player. It's a go to when I need a good laugh.

Bebe is just exquisite. I couldn't believe it when she (Harriet Sansom Harris) showed up in Ratched as talented as ever!

Possibly my favourite line of the whole series popped up for me this morning, when Roz gets to meet her baby daddy's parents.
