Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue I have regarding my learner permit. For the life of me I am not sure if I have applied for two or three permits already. My permit card says issue date of permit is 2014 and expiry date of permit is in 2018 so am I right to think that 2014 was when I first applied and it was renewed in 2016 to bring it to 2018? As well on the NDLS website it says I can renew the learner permit- just wondering if that is right given it expired in 2018? Would I have to book a test to renew it? Sorry for the silly questions. Just really need to start driving at some stage in the future and sick of putting it on the long finger. TIA to anyone who can help me out.

Yes that would mean you are going to apply for your third learner permit and yes you need to book a test to apply for it.
