Hi, I’m wondering if anyone can help me. I want to get rid of my sky , however I’m still in contract. Due to the covid situation I would like to cancel as it’s a complete waste of money especially with a few 6 month offers expiring and the bill going up. Is there away around this seeing that I am still in contract? I would be willing to remove my sports packages , multi room etc to get my monthly bill down until my contract expires. Just would like some advice on this. Also I have found it near impossible to try and get through to them , is there another way to get in touch , I literally have spent 1 hour plus on hold trying to get through to them each time i have rang in the past year.

You are missing out a lot of information, how long is the contract for, when did it start, how much per month? Was it a special offer for 6 months? Have you tried the freephone number when contacting them?

The likes of sky Sports/cinema and kids were add ons on my old contract and I was just required to give 31 days notice. Basic tv packge now at 35 per month and changed bb/ phone to Eir through choosy.ie for flat rate of 30 per month.

Rang them up first to get my end of contract dates etc prior to pulling plant however.
