Who has the better show? Used to listen to Niall Boylan on Classic Hits 4fm back in 2011 in first year. Then a few years later, started listening to Adrian Kennedy on 98FM.

Both equally good shows but I prefer Niall for the simple reason that he comes at 12:00-14:00PM and 21:00PM-12:00AM. Adrian comes only once during the day.

I've called in a few times but made a balls of myself.

Niall is far too opiniated, sometimes to the point of insulting people.

Niall Boylan is an entertainer trying to act like a journalist. Incredibly biased on most topics, mainly on side of populist and controversial opinions.

Niall Boylan is the only honest broadcaster regarding covid atm.

There’s a girl on for Adrian the past few mornings, how come Jeromy is never on air anymore? He’s in the background on the phone

Heard that today, I think it was a lady called Lauren, she used to be on Spin 1038 a few years ago and did the talk show there. Maybe they just wanted Jeremy producing or doing other work behind the scenes and Lauren was an easy fit.
Maybe she still works for the company too in another role.

Jeremy was Adrian's fill-in for years, whenever Adrian was off. I think she's been filling in for Adrian a lot the past few months. I haven't heard Jeremy on the air in a good while. Is it now a solo-presenter show?

Just today on Niall boylan they lifted the problem of the flirty texts direct from the irish mirror problem page and seemed to suggest they received a text from the woman writing in is this common practice ? Don't hear the show that often so it seems a bit wrong to pretend they got a genuine text from someone when they just pulled it from a paper . Not the biggest issue I know but anyhow.

To be fair to Niall, his show is certainly a truer representation of a "caller driven show" than Liveline. The one thing that I am always aware of when I listen to Niall Boylan is that a lot of these callers, who have valid opinions, would simply not be allowed on Liveline.

Naill Boylan is the radio version of The Liberal!
I remember when his show first started I thought it was a pisstake of Liveline

Niall Boylan is the only presenter on main stream radio giving an alternate view of the whole covid situation and for that he should be applauded. Even if you dont agree with what hes saying it makes a change from the echo chamber that is rte, newstalk, today fm etc.
Flip side is, he is extremely opinionated and rude. Hate the way he turns down the volume of people who has an alternative viewpoint to him, so he can talk/rant over them. On the other hand when dealing with tricky topics he surprises me by being sensitive and actually letting the guest talk.
I wrote him off as the radio version of the sun newspaper years ago but have come back in recent times. He is the ying to Joes yang...

And there's a very good reason for that.
