Sorry this is probably completely obvious to you - but I have moved into a house with a satellite dish. We also have the Virgin tv and internet point, which we use. What benefit is there to keep the satellite dish? Havent used it so far.
    Thanks

No benefit to you if you don't have or plan on getting a satellite box.

Are any of the rooms cabled for satellite? Have you got any tvs with a satellite tuner? You could cancel your TV sub, buy a satellite box and receive all the uk free to air channels from 28.2 Astra. Then plug in an aerial for the saorview channels.

You can use the dish to watch and record UK TV free of charge after the initial purchase of a satellite box. Full list of free channels
