Bought a site for 30k, just wondering is there any refund of the stamp duty aspect for self-builds.

It is quite straighforward once you meet all the necessary criteria.

The 1 acre bit could catch me maybe i should just take.99acres instead of the 1 agreed.

"In the case of a single dwelling unit, you cannot claim a refund for curtilage which exceeds 0.4047 hectares (1 acre). The curtilage is the area around the house such as gardens, paths and driveways"
