Buying a new car for the wife but from a finance point of view I'll be taking out the pcp on it.

From an insurance point of view do I have to put the car in my name on the log book, have it as my car and her as a named driver?

Or can I put the car into her name directly while I pay it?

I'd prefer it to be as simple as the car being in her name and she insures it as she does her current car. But I don't know if pcp financing means it has to be in my name with me as the primary insurance on it.

It can be in her name. I've done the same thing twice now. No issue whatsoever
