Court summons for Cannabis possession

    Hi, I recently received a court summons for when I was caught with two 50 bags of cannabis (roughly 6 grams) a few months back and I was wondering what I should do in preparation for the court date. Should I call the garda that was involved? Should I get a lawyer? And I'm assuming the court with decide it was for personal use as it was such a small amount and this is my first offence? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    If you have been caught with drugs, go and speak to a solicitor who has experience in defending such things in the relevant district court area.
