When can you walk on footpaths put freshly down? Would after 48 hours being put down do any damage at this time of the year?

I would give it 2-3 days if possible and cover at night if frost is expected

I had to go into my house today to do a job. I walked on footpath. It was down 2 days. I can see my footprint but only a surface mark not gone deep or anything into the surface. Its more like a watermark of my footprint on the concrete. I hope I haven't ruined the finish on it.

    Any pics?
If you can see the foot print now, it will most likely stick.

    Did it feel Spongy?

If ratios were correct there should be no problem after 48 hours as long as you don't walk around it in football boots

    Not spongy.

The concrete was hard but spotted a surface footprint on it afterwards and was thinking oh no.

Best way I can describe It was light mark on the surface like it was just etched from my shoe. It's more like the concrete is displaying different colours of gray where my footprint was but surface itself isn't damaged or hasnt penetrated through the surface.

No just a pair of runners with soft rubber soles.

After 48 hours there really shouldn't be an issue. Are you sure it wasn't just moisture from your runners?
