Does anyone know where I can buy the real clear type? Some folks in the likes of euro savers and pharmacies the plastic is very cloudy. I've seen people with really clear ones and would appreciate anyone letting me know where I can get them.

    My brother had this issue.

The cloudiness is a protective layer of plastic. It peels off to make it clear :P

    They’re useless on their own.
You need a mask as well.

Forget it. They are of no value whatsoever.

    That's simply not true.

They don't offer anywhere near the same protection as a respirator mask but they do have minimal value.

Doctors are calling for them to be banned if worn without a mask. Some countries are now fining people for wearing them. They can trap aerosol and droplets within them thus being a bigger risk than not wearing anything.

I dont wear them, I wear a respirator mask but if someone coughed or sneezed in my face I'd rather a face sheild to nothing.
