    Hi all,

Would no Service History force you to walk away from a car?

Looking at a 161 308 SW, 90k miles, with no Service History. Timing Belt to be done shortly. Everything else about the car seems good.

    Is it a dealbreaker?

Yes. Assuming it’s a 1.6 HDI you need to be absolutely sure that it was serviced on time and properly.

It could also mean it was clocked.

Irish motorists generally don't service french cars with a 1.6 engine at the recommended intervals
Thats why so many give trouble

In fact, its probably true of all vehicles
