    Hello,

I'm in the process of building my front wall along with the pillars for the gates.

The walls and pillars will be built with granite stone.

Im planning on having a concrete base for the pillars. Just wondering what type of gate post should I embed in the pillars to accommodate the sliding gates that will be installed at a future date ?

    Thanks

In my recent experience, gate installers prefer to do this themselves at the time of installation. We installed 2 granite pillars yesterday and gate provider is going to fabricate a gatepost to sit behind the pillars for a sliding gate.
