27 inch easy on the eyes monitor

I'm looking for a 27inch monitor. One that is easy on my eyes
Mostly for work.

The choice is overwhelming.

Something under 200.

IPS panel I'm guessing.

Dell's high quality Ultrasharp models or their current equivalent may be your best bet.

I have an AOC that is more of a gaming monitor but is fine for the eyes for the WFH gig. Most highly rated gaming monitors will be great for basic tasks by virtue of having higher quality capabilities generally but they may look too gamey for you and you'll probably be paying a premium for things like high refresh rate and super low latency that you don't really need.

Any IPS that's highly rated for colour fidelity will be grand, you are unlikely to need more than 60hz refresh rate and 5ms response time for work.

They all are nowadays. Vesa arm is a good way of freeing up desk space alright.

If you can at all stretch to it I whole heartedly recommend the LG 27GL850, you will get it delivered for €450. I would rather pay the extra 200 quid and get arguably the best 27" on the market right now.

Again, if you're not a gamer or more specifically one with an Nvidia graphics card this has many features you will not take advantage of.

For working from home this is overkill.

Seems grand specs wise. There are plenty of very similar offerings from reputable brands on Amazon in the 120-150 range so don't pay anymore than that.

Thanks for tip, but invoice goes up the chain, not my headache. And supplier is not my choice either. Just need decent monitor(s) for work

Did someone say they got a HP and not lived up to anti glare in a bright room,as i am still looking for a monitor and need to size down to 27 also,not into gaming and only have vga and dvi connections and a hdmi converter.
Monitors seem to be in short supply judging of what stock is left.

It is a great monitor for a great price for a high end gaming rig, but it is also way overkill for general working tasks. Versus a €150 27" IPS office monitor it may as well be €800 unless you want to throw 300 quid away on stuff you'll never need or use.

- 2 HDMI (bonus - thinking I can stick a Chromecast into one of them)

if you want easy on the eyes, use a dark pc theme and wallpaper. doesnt matter what monitor you use, ive went from 17 to 35 inch and makes no real difference

I have this monitor. I love it. The speakers are quite poor though, so you might want to use external speakers if using Netflix.

I think that's a great choice if it's in budget, Dell have some great displays its 1440p too! ( which I think is a must for 27" especially for work purposes!)

Only will be used for office work and will be mounted to VESA 100x100 on wall so stand doesn't matter. I accept the bezel is a bit thick but not a deal breaker for me.

Haven't heard of the brand before is the concern I'd have.

I actually purchased this Dell on the 22nd Oct and received it on 28th. I think they purposely overshoot with their delivery estimates.
Happy with it so far..261 eur.

Wouldn't go near laptopsdirect again.
Got a wd 3tb Nas from them, dead on arrival.
They only refunded the cost of the drive.
Didn't answer customer support questions and I had to go through their Facebook page to get them to refund the original shipping costs.

Also get the feeling/thought I heard they buy returned products from major stores.
