    Hi
I've just built a block shed. Now I'm thinking I may use it for an internal playroom.
If I'm using it for living space am I best to get it externally scudded/ scratched and plastered?

I've been quoted €1900 to get this done for a 6x4m shed with 3 metre high walls.

Is this a fair price for Dublin?

    Any help thanks

If it's cavity wall a good scud and one coat of plaster will do. By cavity wall I mead two 4'' walls with a gap between, this gap can be pumped with insulation.
Time and material should cost €700 to €900
If it's, say, a 6'' single wall I'd advise a scud (if blockwork is smooth) + a thick scratch coat and equally thick finish coat using water proofer in both coats.
    T & M €1,500
You may have to dry line walls internally + insulate attic space etc.
