Of course you can go. No one is going to stop you! Currently in Crete and the weather is amazing. Delighted we came!

Not long back from the Lanzarote myself.

Airports where empty both ways, as was the flight. Flights might be a bit busier now as Ryanair and Aer Lingus have cut their schedule from daily to 3/4 times a week.

You need to do a QR code for going to any Spanish area, 48 hours before flying. Temperature check and QR check after passport control.

Very safe over there. Less than 75 cases across all the islands yesterday. (35 are in Gran Canaria, 35 in Tenerife, 3 in Lanzarote, and 2 in Fuerteventura).

Mask wearing is mandatory in all public places, except while sitting in a bar/restaurant or by the pool. Nearly 100% of people wear their masks. Police are quick to warn or fine you if not. Majority of places sanitise your hands when entering.

Very quiet compared to normal but most places where open. Some closing 2 days a week, but still huge choice of bars and restaurants available.

Any questions give me a shout. We're delighted we went ahead with it. Felt much safer over there than at home.

Anyone going to Cyprus? It's on the green list, so there is no recommendation to quarantine on return
