Hi, I just got a cancellation test in Nenagh, and I've never driven in Nenagh before. My test is on the 20th, and it's my second time around. I did my first in Loughrea. Is Nenagh particularly difficult? Anything to watch out for? I believe the test center is in the Government Offices there?

I failed my first test due to a lot of stress related mistakes that I'd done, and I'm fairly confident that if I did it in Loughrea again I'd pass, however there was no cancellations available there and I finally managed to get a cancellation in Nenagh.

I'm not entirely sure whether I'll have a chance to drive around there as I have a rather busy schedule in the days before, as I am moving home.

Nenagh is a busy town. I'd advise you to spend afew hours driving around it.

Personally I wouldn’t be doing a test in a town I had no experience in but that could just be me. I had driven around Naas loads outside of lessons to learn all about the possible routes, tricky corners etc. The 20th doesn’t leave you with a great deal of prep, I’d be trying to get a lot of practice in if I were you.

You said you failed the first one due to stress related marks, doing a test in a town you’ve no experience in will probably be very stressful.

Do it on a Sunday if you can. It's a lot quieter. Its a trick little town but you'll get used to it soon. It has everything: roundabout, junctions etc.
